G. Ekman

G. Ekman lives in Stockholm, Sweden with a partner, dog and baby axolotl. Her reviews, articles, and translations have appeared in Guernica and Strange Horizons, among other venues; her short fiction has appeared in Wyldblood. Her epic fantasy novel, The Crooked-Hearted Book of Beasts, was completed this year. In the novel, when an idealistic monk and his part-animal allies fail to assassinate a queen, it is up to a beggar child, a reluctant soldier, and a book of strange and occasionally talkative beasts, to stop the war and save their city.
